Overview
Quantity Breaks adds automatic, per-product quantity discounts to Shopify stores. We use the minimum data necessary and do not collect or store customer personal information.
What the app accesses
- Create and manage automatic discounts (scope: write_discounts) to create the volume-pricing discount.
- Read product info inside Shopify's Functions sandbox (e.g. whether a product has the quantity-discount tag) at checkout. This runs on Shopify's servers and is not transmitted to or stored by us.
- Read the store's subscription status to enforce the paid plan.
What we do not collect
- No customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, payment details, orders).
- No analytics or advertising trackers.
- We do not sell or share any data.
Data we store
The app's backend (a Cloudflare Worker) is stateless and keeps no database of merchant or customer records. It verifies session tokens and webhook signatures per request and stores nothing.
Compliance / GDPR webhooks
The app implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Because the app stores no customer or merchant data, there is nothing to return or erase; these requests are verified and acknowledged.

- Cloudflare (hosting of the app's backend).
Data retention
We retain no personal data. Discounts created by the app live in the merchant's own Shopify admin.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Webhooks are HMAC-verified; admin requests use Shopify session tokens.
Your rights
Merchants may uninstall the app at any time, which revokes its access. For privacy requests, contact jack@gridlinepeptides.com.
