Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does “Research Use Only” mean?
“Research Use Only” (RUO) is a regulatory designation indicating that a compound or material is supplied exclusively for in vitro laboratory research and analytical evaluation — not for use in humans or animals. Products sold under this designation may not be used for medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or any clinical purpose. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations in their jurisdiction.
Are Certificates of Analysis (COAs) available for products?
Yes. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for every product in the Gridline Peptides catalog. Each COA documents the batch lot number, compound identity, purity percentage (as determined by HPLC), testing methodology, and testing date. COAs can be reviewed prior to purchase or provided upon request. Visit the Research Resources page for guidance on reading and interpreting COA documentation.
Where do orders ship from?
All orders are processed and shipped from our Tennessee facility. Domestic shipments are sent via UPS or USPS depending on order size and delivery destination. Processing time for in-stock items is less than one business day. Free standard shipping is available on US orders of $150 or more (code: FREESHIP).
How are your products stored?
We store all of our products in CRT (Controlled Room Temperature) settings / sub ºF in order to protect purity, potency, and potential degredation of our products. Although short term temperature changes, such as shipping conditions, rarely alter the make-up of peptides. We make it our duty to provide the highest purity research grade formulas at an affordable price.
What analytical testing methods are used?
Gridline Peptides materials are tested using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to determine purity and mass spectrometry (MS) to confirm molecular identity. HPLC results are reported as a percentage of the target compound relative to total detected components. MS analysis confirms structural identity by comparing observed mass-to-charge ratios against known reference values. Full test methodology and instrument details are documented in each product’s COA.
Are these products intended for human or animal use?
No. All products sold by Gridline Peptides™ are intended strictly for in vitro laboratory research and analytical evaluation only. They are not approved, intended, or suitable for use in humans or animals, and are not drugs, supplements, cosmetics, veterinary products, or medical devices. Purchase and use are restricted to qualified researchers operating within a licensed laboratory research context.
